Some say that the ad was a stealth appeal for immigration amnesty by its Muslim chief executive officer [ raised in Iran and Indonesia ? ]
I’m not mad about it.
It did not make me want to drink any more coke, but I’m not mad.
Yes, Savage is one of the people I meant. I think Lars Larson might have mentioned it.
It’s just like we supposed to be outraged over a biracial Cheerios ad. It’s so that people won’t want to be associated with us ‘racist’ conservatives.
From the Super Bowl Coke Ad.
Are they trying to sell Coke or are they trying to infect American children with images that sell Gay Marriage?
As long as it doesn’t violate the Constitution. I’d have a world of problems if Obammy and Bigfoot were singing it... but not some International company that sells it’s product to millions of people across the globe.
Mad. No.
Is it an ad that I would want to watch? No.
Is it a wise ad for Coke to make? Not really, it alienates part of their consumer base. It’s their prerogative as a private business to do what they want with the confines of the law.
I know. Why business think these are good investments are beyond me. It must work since they dump lots of cash into these things but I sure don't get it.
“...if the ad had shown all those non-white faces singing America The Beautiful in English.”
I seem to recall an ad years ago that was very similar with different quick individual shots of people of all different races and cultures and religions were doing something (holding up a bottle of Coke or something???) and saying to the camera “I am an American” in English, but often with a very thick accent. I thought THAT one was great.
English is our native language. The feel good multiKulti bs is aggravating. Like this advertizing. Just more multiKulti brainwashing .....that it is good
Its more incremental brainwashing of the American public to accept the liberal agenda....via the boob tube.

I guess they weren’t trying to sell anything - just a “Ad Council” ad from 2001. Still love it though.
Just damn it don’t bother a lot of folks were systematically being hijacked ....I give up Why do we all believe in God ,Guns and Guts ? What is the sense of it if your not moved to madness over a commercial that slaps Americans in the face in this charged climate or Multiculturalism and war for our own Freedoms .....I know it’s a thin line but once it’s crossed it’s crossed and Coke crossed it it should have been sang in English because this is America and not any other country.
We are Exceptional in this world you might not think we are Even our President don’t think we are but i do and our exceptionable ways feed house and clothe a-lot of the free world when we start bowing to the Multiculturalism’s tenants of ill will we truly have given up Freedoms very reason for being !
It is done for bragging rights/ "Look how cool and diverse and global we are at Coca Cola"
Agreed! It was pc and offensive. Anyone who viewed it with indifference has no connection to “America the Beautiful.”
IIRC, they ran multi-national commercials quite some years ago. Is the new commercial any different?
Coke is a multi-national company...where’s the beef?
I buy 1 ltr Coke products, along with beer, to sell to the locals in my neighborhood.
There 5 Spanish channels on our local TV. All the ads, Coke, Chevrolet, Ford, Dodge, Tmobile, Sprint, DirecTV, Chase, Sears, Pennys, Walmart, Kroger, Tom Thumb, CVS, Walgreens, McDonalds, Wendys, Burger King, Jack in the Box and others are all in Spanish with Spanish actors...kids too. There is one local Vietnamese and Indian station...all in their native languages. Same advertisements all in a foreign language. If you have a business, you want to make money. Doesn’t matter who’s pocket that buck was in.
But this was during the very American Super Bowl which had the most viewers of any TV broadcast in American history.
And it is right in the middle of this record breaking broadcast the Coca-Cola goes full force in the face of 120 million Americans with their Multicultural Agenda with all those languages and even gay men holding hands.
I don’t suspect they run such ads on your local Indian TV station or on a re-run of Gilligan’s Island, but only do so when they know millions of kids are watching.
