Something tells me this guy will want a judge trial.

The homeowner probably thought she was there to perform a “late term abortion”. He had to defend himself.
(If you don’t appreciate that spattering of convoluted current events regarding the girl scouts, I can’t help you.) LOL

Mixed feelings about this one.
- Porch lights and peep holes exist for you to not make a fool out of yourself.
- Even without those, he should have been able to assess that it was a little girl and not a threat, and there was no need to point a gun at her.
- But when did pointing a gun become a crime?
I've had guns pointed at me at least twice.
- Once when I was on a man's land hunting, and didn't realize I was on his land.
- And once with a group from Vanderbilt looking for a state park. We were close but thought we were lost, so we stopped and knocked on a guy's door. Unfortunately about 5 of us had approached the door. And he answered the door with a shotgun in hand. We explained who we were and what we were looking for and he gave us directions.
I wouldn't have pressed charges in either situation. In both cases they were on their property and simply assuming a defensive posture.

I have actually seen liberals trying to equate this to Zimmerman's case and saying under Stand Your Ground the man would have been justified in shooting the Girl Scout.
Just shows the staggering ignorance on the left about the Zimmerman case AND the legal concepts of Stand Your Ground.

He wasn't aiming the girl scout, but at the little family dog across the street... (isn't this the excuse now that is all the rage...)
Meanwhile, two officers who put nearly 200 rounds into a pick up truck with two ladies delivering newspapers still have not been arrested for attempted murder. Their crime? Driving down the street with only parking lights on for pre-dawn newspaper delivery.

I know the controversy surrounding the Girls Scouts USA and Planned Parenthood, however, the San Diego Girl Scouts initiated Operation Thin Mint as a service project to send cookies to our armed forces overseas, 2.2 million boxes since 2002. The pretty girl from the nice family two doors down doesn't have a clue about abortion, and I can't resist her smile & charm when she comes to the door each year. I give all the boxes I buy to the troops, and 100% of those contributions go to them.
Next OTM sendoff celebration aboard the USS Midway Museum is scheduled for Saturday, May 3rd.

"Grown men do cry! The Operation Thin Mint cookies brought back memories of home. With all our hearts, thank you for thinking of us."

If he was within his doorway I honestly don’t know what he did wrong except scare the beanie off the girl. It’s not like he went knocking on HER door with weapon drawn. I just hope his guns are legal, whoever he is.

I know the cookies do not taste the same anymore but I still would not pull a gun on the Girl scout....
