I met Hurley once. We took her and some pals including Sean Penn out to Catalina Island for scuba diving and snorkeling. I was a Divemaster on a charter boat.

I thought she was just the most charming, nice and down to earth gal I had ever met. No pretensions at all. Sean Penn on the other hand was a whiny little brat - and when I say little, I mean little - about 5'5" - with him it was all "the water's too cold" "have any better food?" "I hate it here" "lets go home" - Everyone, especially Hurley, ignored him, which really pissed him off good.

It was a hot July day and by 3PM she had basically lost most of her "swimming outfit" - one of those real good times.
