One thing Texas does very well is plan ahead for highways. The Grand Parkway will help reduce traffic congestion on many other highways.

If you work in the building trades in any other part of the country, there is an unlimited amount of work for the foreseeable future in the Houston area. Builders drive around all the construction projects stealing framers working on other sites. You can pretty much name your price. If one builder doesn't like it, you will find three the next day that do.

I’m not sure what stage the Grand Parkway is in regarding the northern sections.
I know that some others have been completed. One problem up that way is I-45
which has been widened but is still very crowded during peak hours.
