if it were colder here that’s what we would have had bc it has been raining hard and steady. Yes, good you have time to make it to the airport.

I like the Red Hot Chili Peppers - or at least some of their songs - but they just looked old and badly dressed after Bruno Mars

But they had an awful lot of energy, and it was some good jammin’

Exactly. He’s a music snob. He likes what we call Schnitzel music, Radda-Radda, from the cartoon Chowder(which is hilarious BTW).

Did you see Bruno when he was on SNL? He did a sketch where the servers at Pandora were broken so he was singing everyone’s songs. He really is talented.

I think the old school R&B was a good choice. Unites black and white. But i get the feeling he could have done a show in any number of genres and pulled it off.

If there was any doubt that global warming is a crock-you said it was 39 in the early AM where you are-it was 28 here at 6AM, and it is only 36 now, with drizzle now and then...

I saw some little snippets
Of O’Reilly interviewing Obama-
It was just more of the same-
Lots of hype, lying and drama

Though the artful dodger has
His Chicago mob to bring fear
To every weakling politician
He has a moribund career-

Once he’s out, maybe he will
Run for governor of a state
Not Illinois, but sunny Hawaii-
Liberal, and the weather is great...

Better than our family's response to Moochelle butting in on puppy bowl.

I did see that skit. Actually, he was a fun host all together; he really made me like him. And I think you nailed it with the R&B. My only complaint on the halftime show, and it was a minor complaint, I think it really was the best show they have had in a while, was that it seems odd to end with the slowest song. I thought they should have ended it with the raw energy of the RHCP, leaving the image of everyone on stage hopping up and down. But based on what i have been reading here and rest of FR, looks like I’m in the minority on that.

He likes the screaming stuff, with some ska(easier to listen to), and I can’t bring myself to listen to most of it to be able to describe it. I like most kinds of music, except rap which I don’t think is music anyway. I’m sure he would love to lecture me on what styles he likes and what they are all called but life is too short. ;)

i googled something that i liked and saw that one of the genres listed for it was SHOEGAZE, which i think is hilarious. It's a category on Songpop, but i don't know what falls into that category. never heard of any of them though.

it was very odd, i admit, but it worked for me. Probably just because it was so odd, to be honest.
