I said no, not that I've ever remembered.

And I've been watching NFL football for around 40 years.

I have NO idea what happened on that first play.

Manning was clearly surprised.

And he's one of the best QBs that has ever played.

Guess we can chalk it up to "nerves".

Crowd Noise. Manning in a news conference after said they were unable to hear the snap count due to the noise. Thus the safety.
