Hendrix also set his custom-painted flowered Stratocaster on fire at Monterey in 1967.

Fender later released a replica of it known as the "Pamelina," after the custom shop that designed the artwork. The Pamelina featured a rose instead of a daisy on the body, and a photo of Hendrix.
