Yes, but one voter selected Tom Brady as MVP, denying Manning a unanimous vote. Voter claimed Brady was more valuable because he carried his team on his back, even though he acknowledged Manning may have had the greatest season an NFL QB ever had.

As a result, Brady remains the only player ever to win a unanimous NFL MVP.

Manning's been robbed of appropriate acknowledgement before. See, e.g., Heisman Trophy.

Those of us who are old enough remember that his father, Archie, should have been a Heisman Trophy winner as well. During the Civil Rights Movement era, some of the voters were known to have said that they would not vote for someone from Mississippi.

Archie was the most exciting quarterback that I have ever watched. If you haven't seen The Book of Manning, get it. It provides a hint of what he was like, both on and off the field.

I'm thinking that the shout-out from Jesus Christ, on Judgment Day, will mean a lot more to Manning than trophies.
