I agree with you that there have been cases of false accusations of child molestation, particularly in cases of bitter breakups. But I don't think this is one of them.

There were several witnesses to inappropriate behavior by Woody Allen towards Dylan. There are also witnesses to Dylan being uncomfortable around Allen. Ronan Farrow was in his teens at the time. He saw Allen's bad behavior and strongly believes over 20 years later that Allen molested his adopted sister.

But most telling is Dylan's statement. She is now 29 years old. This happened over 20 years ago. But she is still so hurt by what Woody Allen did that she feels the need to speak out about it. You can't say that at 29 Dylan is doing it because Mia Farrow told her to.

Ronan is 26 years old, 3 years younger than Dylan. So he was a young child when this happened, not in his teens.

Detective, your post is right on. I agree. However, Ronan was called satchel back then and he wasn’t a teen - he was a couple years older than his sister I believe. They grew up together.
