We got our first mix breed dog 4 years ago. He's half Pitbull, quarter Rottweiler and quarter Great Pyrenees. He's a pretty good dog. The best dog I ever owned was a Cane Corso Mastiff. It was loyal, smart, protective and great with my kids. I would be a little leery buying one today with so many people breeding them for size and aggression. Popularity is not always a good thing for a dog breed.
