They are all adorable, but the best dog is a dog you take from a rescue, who does understand what you did for him/her and is eternally grateful for your kindness.

I had 2 Labs, both brothers, one a golden and the other black. But my sister had four cocker spaniels, each with vividly different personalities. They were all very dear.

I have always viewed the “mutt” as an All-American dog. We have two: a Dalmatian / Border Collie mix and a German Shepard / Black Lab mix.

If I were to buy a dog it would without a doubt be a Lab or a King Charles. Never had a King Charles...but they intrigue me.
As it is..I’ll just wait for whatever the good Lord decides to send wagging to the front yard. And hope my now inside feral kitty will allow me to keep it. :) She’s pretty bossy these days!!
