In a speech about his initiatives to ensure Americans retirement security, Pres. Obama explained his strategy for dealing with Congresssort ofusing three nots and a without.
In Wednesdays speech, Obama declared: Now, Im hoping that Congress goes along with this, but Im not going to wait for Congress. I could do more with Congress, but Im not going to not do anything without Congress, not when its about the basic security and dignity of American workers.
Huh? What? This statement seems twice as confusing as double-talk, since it uses not two, but four negatives.

Cheap suit double-talk is Hussein’s specialty.
So we finally found a “shovel-ready” job, then?

If he’s not going to not do something means he’s going to do it.
Well that’s not entirely true of Obama. Nearly all of his official acts since 2009 have involved him having illicit, nonconsensual, forceful congress with Americans.
The very thought gives me heartburn.
