Johnny, someone yesterday told me that wax is put on rice after it is harvested, so that rice should be washed. I am not a big rice eater. In fact, I don’t know if I cook rice once a year. Beans everyday. But not much rice. Anyhow, was this person pulling my leg about the rice being waxed?
Apples do get a very thin coat of edible wax, but not rice.
