In order that we might all raise the level of discourse and expand our language abilities, here is the daily post of “Word for the Day”.

Imprecation

Noun

    1. The act of imprecating.
    2. A curse.


Rules: Everyone must leave a post using the Word for the Day in a sentence.

The sentence must, in some way, relate to the news of the day.

Woo-hoo, the team with the most Aggies won tonight! That’s how we decide who to root for if it isn’t one of our favorite teams. The only commercial that I thought was a big thumbs-down was the This Land is Your Land, being sung in different languages. It went against the whole idea of being a melting pot and all of us being of one country. And Budweiser could not go wrong with puppies and horses, always a winner. Although the Dobehua was hilarious too.

The Doritos commercial was the clear winner at our superbowl party.

The SU game was far more exciting than the boring superbowl. Best part of that game was watching Sherman get hauled off the field and out of the game.

I watched two movies I’d seen several times, but liked-”The Other Boleyn Girl” and “Legally Blonde”, instead-didn’t see the game, commercials or any of that...
