I just love my Labs! (although tempted by some LOVELY Chessies owned by a friend - oh my!)
The thing about rescue is that it's so hit-or-miss. Unless they happen to have something on hand that you like, and that just may not happen for months at a time.
With a breeder, you've got a definite schedule (and sometimes a waiting list!) and you know pretty much what you're going to get by looking at the parents and the pedigrees.
