Because ALL of the forensic evidence points to Rudy as the murderer and NONE of it points to Knox or Solecito despite the prosecution’s best efforts to try to forge some of it.
I know the website you linked says that - and the website is an excellent source of information - but some of the information at the website is directly contradicted by the statements made by experts in the 400-page December 4-5, 2009, Sentence of the Court of Assizes of Perugia, available as a .pdf download from www.perugiamurderfile.org.
I don't know why there are inconsistencies between sites.
In the Sentence of the Court, an expert that Kercher's DNA was found on the blade of the kitchen knife found in Knox's boyfriend's apartment, with Knox's DNA on the handle. This is the same expert who identifies Guede's DNA on Kercher, on the bloody fingerprints, and elsewhere in Kercher's apartment.
The testimony about Kercher's DNA on the blade is directly contradictory to what I've read on so many pro-Knox websites and in so many pro-Knox stories.
The same expert identifies Knox's blood in the bathroom in which Kercher was assaulted. She identifies Sollecitor's DNA - and not Guede's DNA - on the bra clasp that was cut from Kercher's bra during the attack.
The clasp was found under the pillow placed under Kercher to facilitate the sexual assault after Kercher had been stabbed.
The issue we've wondered about - whether Kercher was, in fact, sexually assaulted - is addressed. Kercher showed signs of recent sexual activity and brusing and other injuries indicating she had been assaulted.
There's more about Knox's and Sollecito's DNA in the sentencing report.
All I can say is that some of the definitive statements in the website you linked are not supported by expert testimony in the Sentence of the Court.
I don't know what to think when one website that appears to be so professional, logical, and detailed contradicts experts in the Sentence of the Court.
