Five drops with mixed DNA in a shared bathroom? Shocking. Or do you mean the footprints that were revealed by luminol but tested negative for blood? Or the knife which did not actually have Kerchner's DNA on it?

Thank you for that information.

So if the footprints reacted to luminol but weren't blood, then they were fruit juice or bleach, which react to luminol?

Perhaps a size 37 shoe stepped in fruit juice. Perhaps a size 37 shoe stepped in bleach - a cleaning agent.

And I appreciate the information on the knife. That's new - and came out only in this third trial.

Five drops with mixed DNA in a shared bathroom?

Amanda testified the bathroom was clean the day before the murder. She testified that she saw the blood drops on the sink when she came to the apartment after the murder to take a shower and thought the drops came from her own pierced ear.

That shower was the one where Amanda says she did not notice the full bloody footprint on the bathmat.
