No because she was acquitted once and we don’t recognize double jeopardy.
Have lawyers, guns and money.
They certainly have.
A bunch of bumbling vindictive incompetents.
And rightly so. This is BS.
Not sure what you mean. . .she is free and living in the states.
It now goes to the Italian Supreme Court to either confirm it or toss it.
Solecito could be arrested immediately — he was not in court today as he probably got a heads up.
I doubt she will ever be extradited.
She will just have to stay stateside and out of countries with extradition treaties with the Italy.
I must confess I have lusted in my heart at times.
She is free, not in Italy, and will not be sent back there.
She’s free now. She was tried in absentia and will never go to prison despite this conviction, which is a travesty by the way.
I mean the conviction is a travesty, not her freedom.
Actually, she speaks fluent Italian from the four years she spent in jail after the first verdict before it was overturned. It is doubtful she will be going back, but the attorneys are going to have to hash out whether she can be extradited given US double jeopardy laws.
Amanda is here in the states, she won’t be going to prison unless she chooses to go to Italy to go to jail. I doubt that.
“Sollecito was in court today earlier today, but was not present for the verdict....”
Dude should have gotten out of town when he had the chance. He is going to rot in prison because the Italians hate his American ex-girlfriend.
Awaiting Eric Holders response for extraditing Amanda Knox back to Italy.
I really believe it will happen.
This will be Americas future with these evil vile bas-turds in charge.
I hate wishing my life away but this nightmare needs to end in 2016 or sooner.
Sophia Loren and Gina Lollobrigida
Your adjective and noun are in disagreement.
We do extradite to Italy, but this has to go through another higher court in another trial before anything starts to happen.
Go ask Obama, I think he’ll know
“...the Italian justice system has really made a mess of this case.”
They also have the view of “guilty until proven innocent”. I imagine she wasn’t planning any trips to Italy anyway though. If I were her, I would probably be planning on future studies “abroad” in Hawaii, and using an RV for any future vacations.
Really? You actually think she is guilty?
