Education Secretary Arne Duncan [
] tells reporters that schools are often the safest place in a community, and gun violence is a societal problem and not a school problem.
He says tougher gun control measures are needed. A spokeswoman for Duncan clarifies that he means the problem isnt a lack of school safety, but easy access to guns.

It just needed a small re-write to make it truthful.

The reason people who want to go out in a front-page “blaze of glory” choose schools is precisely because it is very unlikely anyone inside will be armed. An exception was recently seen in the Arapahoe High shooting in Colorado where an armed resource office was on duty. The perp tragically shot only one student before taking his own life when he was cornered.

How many laws does a yute already violate by bringing a gun to school?

A spokeswoman for Duncan clarifies that he means the problem isnt a lack of school safety, but easy access to guns. So, Vermont needs far more gun control laws to be safe?

Gun grabbers like Duncan won’t brook logic; their only goal is power, like 1984’s O’Brien.

Until gun grabbers like Education Secretary Arne Duncan stop creating Free Kill Zones, the problem will worsen.

Duncan needs to inspire Congress to propose an appropriate gun control amendment to the states for ratification. And if the states choose to ratify the proposed amendment then Duncan will be a hero.

What could possibly be appropriate?

Education Secretary Arne Duncan [

His own imagination. He thinks that power makes him an authority.

The other thing the MSM ignored is that none of the gun control measures the Democrats rammed through last year did a damn thing to protect those students.
"Recent school shootings in New Mexico and Philadelphia combined left four students wounded." Yeah, and using the Justice Department's number that every year 2.5 million Americans use firearms to protect themselves, roughly 11,000 Americans were protected those two days by using guns.
But you can't argue logic with CommieLibs.

What could possibly be appropriate? I can't think of anything of anything appropriate. Maybe Duncan should forget about gun control.

Tell us a bit more about Common Core, Arne.
