I wish. Monster markets itself at a premium and only in small containers and quantities.

"Did you just call an engineer math-challenged?"

I'd rather believe someone was math-challenged in the morning than that they would succumb to addiction to "energy" drinks.

The only energy drink I use is coffee, and I like to keep the dosage under control.

"teacher, NNB was being nasty to the soother for no reason /tattletale"

Not true. Simply a matter of curmudgeonly habit.

Not being nasti to anyone in particular, just everyone in general.

I've always thought this a great example of the transition point 'tween The Who and solo Pete. If nothing else, certainly they never dressed more 80s....

"Coffee is so 20th century."

Even earlier. That's part of its appeal.

You realize, of course, that coffee and tea are where they are just because people had to boil water to make it safe to drink? And then it tasted bland.

Americans settling the West simplified the process and just drank whiskey.

This quondam twitter post from MSNBC has the twitter world in a uproar. “Maybe the rightwing will hate it, but everyone else will go awww: the adorable new #Cheerios ad w/ biracial family,” MSNBC wrote on Wednesday night, linking to the new ad.

The ad is old news. And terribly cute too.

MSNBC isn’t new, it isn’t propoganda it’s a trolling organization.

quondam reminds me of quidam, whose absence i lament. the closest we came was the WH insider who was predicting all sorts of meltdowns and intrigues in the obams WH. Whatever happened to him, i wonder?

powerful. i believe in the devil, always have. i recall father emil payer at St James the Greater church in Apollo, PA, in a sermon given right around the time the movie Exorcist came out, saying that very thing, that the devil's biggest coup is getting people to think he's fictional. They say the St Michael the Archangel prayer after every daily Mass at St James in Falls Church.
