Never see the sun. The sad thing is, Medicare is so woven into the public fabric of America that angry seniors would descend on Washington in droves.
But Broun's bill kicks ass.

Well, as a senior, let me say that nobody I know really wanted to enroll in Medicare. We don’t have an option. We tried to find ways around Medicare, but were told that it was automatic and we could do nothing. So, for those of you who think we love Medicare...phooey! As of now, I still have my primary doctor, but I have not had to see the other specialists, so I don’t know if they are taking Medicare patients, or not. SO many have dropped Medicare patients that it is getting scarce to find one who will. Besides that, talk in the waiting room at his office is not in favor of Medicare. Not all seniors like it. It automatically relegates us to inferior and limited care. Medicare doesn’t pay for a lot of things these days. We know that! Thank heavens we have private insurance, as well.
Broun is from GA. We live here. He had said he was working on a plan, and I am glad it is so bold. I pray that everyone writes their Congressmen/women and ask them to support this bill, whether they be democrat or republican. If we could get a lot of representatives to sign onto the bill, I’m sure it would get more attention then. So far, he has offered the best thing I have read yet.
