Morning to you. Enjoying our weather? -7 this morning here.
One nice thing, the tap water is nice and cold. I think if I put it in the refrigerator it will get warmer. ;-)

I did have a review of grammar when my two older kids had it in HS and then my daughter also had it in college for 2 years, so i would check their work for them. If you are living in a spanish speaking country, you will be learning by osmosis, which is easier then textbook study! the best way to learn a language is by necessity, being forced to communicate in daily life. I have a good friend from Venezuela, but bc she speaks english it's easier to just speak eng with her. The lawn guys and the cleaning lady are less facile in english, which is why i am forced to speak Spanish with them. Plus, they really like it that i can speak to them in their language. I pulled up with some
Don Omar music blaring from my vehicle last summer, and those guys laughed and laughed! LOVE that song!

-1 with wind chill.
Which, just irks me. Does the Weatherman, really need to explain, ad infinitum, that wind makes it feel colder.?

Do they need to show us that the snow plows are out plowing and salting? That is not news.
If, for some reason, they were NOT out there, that would be news.

They don’t spend nearly enough time discussing dew points.

The dew point is useful for defining the “stickiness” factor in the summer. Just about pointless this time of year.

We were roaring about
this yesterday. xsteen has been to Mari Vanna and thinks it's incrediby cool. Notice they have polish pottery on the table. The decor is supposed to be like your Baba's house. But look at how spiffed up Maria is, and Ovie looks like utter crap, including hair not combed. AND he bought her cheap roses from the Safeway! Paula's reponse was we need to make sure to get reservations at Mari Vanna next Jan. 25th!

... he bought her cheap roses from the Safeway!pray; would not a rose, at any other price, still smell the same?

Doesn’t everybody in the north just turn on the “hot” spigot to wash their hands everywhere they go? And hope there is eventually something non-cold that comes out?
