It isn't true. I have seen it twice. Baptist context. Worked on first try. No ritual whatsoever. Just a straightforward three-way conversation where the believer pulls rank on the nasty critter and Jesus does all the heavy lifting. No recidivism either. Seriously. This is available to all believers. Bring at least a mustard seed's worth of faith.

As a Catholic what you say is true.I have seen a case of possession but it was never resolved.I was with a witness that saw something dark enter into a person and they began to threaten to take the life of that person.The Demon said it's name but I forget.It was old testament.This person suffered a long time and died 7 years ago.When this happened I had to make decision to take it on and I did.I told it-it would not win and we began to pray and it left.
