Good find. Although I think before we can really call it a falsification of the theory we’ll need a run of winters with the polar vortex breaking up and parts of it drifting south. I think we’ve had at least two recently — the last one(s) we didn’t hear about because our news and weather services are so insular, but I seem to recall that Europe and Russia had extra cold winters for a couple of years when we didn’t.

I think what this article is saying disagrees with what the AGW crowd is saying now. They are connecting these artic vortexes to manmade global warming. They want it both ways.
