Sadly, it’s not obvious who’s joking.
And who lives in a luxurious apt. building but doesn’t have a doorman? I don’t understand the unlocked door, either. Most Manhattan “luxurious” doors automatically lock as soon as the door closes. And most of them are designed to close hard with a bang. This is not to be negative towards the poor woman - only the Daily Mail’s lousy reporting.
