He didn’t lose power, he tripped a breaker and was too stupid to flip it back. The UK PM doesn't have any staff at the house? He doesn't have some 20 year old Army communications guy ensuring he can reach people in an emergency (and who would likely have enough sense to know how to work a circuit breaker even if his idiot boss didn't)?
