Well, look at his "Dad"!
His dad helped him block off the street so they could have the drag race. Apparently the father is about the same age of maturity as his son. Parents are divorced so I suppose dad wants to be the “cool” parent. It doesn’t sound like his mother has much influence over him right now.
The dad thinks that the media is picking on his boy. While this may not be unusual behavior for a teen out of control in cases like Beiber there is no one to put the brakes on him nor does there seem to be many consequences for his behavior and his neighbors shouldn’t have to put up with it.
