There’s a nice family who have lived up the street from me for 16 years. Last year one of their sons broke into the neighbors house across the street. Would I have suspected him to do this? No, of course not but he did it. Because of him more people in the neighborhood are now locking their vehicles at night.
That is too bad about that son; I would be concerned about that neighbor. Probably other signs cropped up before that kiddo broke into the house. No concerns of that where I live, now. There have been places where I have lived in the past where I didn’t even bother to know the neighbors, they weren’t worth my time or effort, and would never had had access to anything of mine.
