How do you define ‘love’ the sinner?

Is it to help them overcome sin that they might live life more abundantly?

Or is it not to judge their sin and behavior because that is decreed ‘hate’?

That’s the issue. It’s insipid to suggest I’m advocating rejecting a teaching of Jesus Christ when ‘love the sinner, hate the sin’ meme is a perverted ruse to beguile Christians to embrace an abomination and lifestyle.

We are to hate sin. We are to stand against sin. We are to judge what is sin and what is righteous. There is no Life for those whom are beholden to and practice sin.

Is saving a life for eternity not the full measure of what love actually is as God defines it?

Being silent while a people remain in their sin, while declaring such silence ‘love’ and ‘non-judgment’ a higher moral position is a demonic deception.

Amen, INVAR. The most unloving thing that one can do is “love” them right into hell.

“Nonjudgmentalism” isn’t what the left wants us to think it is. In fact, in context Matthew 7:1 Christ appears to be warning us to not use our OWN standards to judge others by, but instead to use God’s righteous standards.

This is borne out in John:

Joh 7:24 Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.

Also, just a couple verses after the Left’s favorite verse (Matthew 7:1) is this:

Mat 7:6 Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.

It would be impossible to determine whether certain people were dogs or swine, and refrain from evangelizing them once you knew them for what they are, unless judgment was exercised. So “judge not,” followed so closely by a command to judge, proves the Left’s desire for nonjudgmentalism is satanic.

Finally, how on earth would church discipline ever take place if we were as nonjudgmental as the Left wants us to be? It’s precisely such nonjudgmentalism that’s led the visible church to keep a lot of demonic leaven within the church, to corrupt it.
