I started watching House because of Laurie’s performance in Blackadder.
While on this side of the Atlantic, Laurie is more likely to be known for his portrayal of House, I am sure how widely viewed the show was in the UK.
One of the reasons we tried out an Amazon Prime subscription in December was so I could go back and watch old Black Adder episodes. My wife, having not paid attention to Black Adder when it was on TV, had not recognized Laurie.
