The extra point take 3 seconds. It's interesting when someone goes for two. Do we need script every second of the sport for maximum spectacle? The sport is making billions of dollars, is less than a minute of downtime holding it back for making more money?

This was already tried around 2000 with the XFL and it failed immediately.
