We have about 3 inches and it’s supposed to snow until 11 pm. Dogs are driving me nuts wanting to keep going outside and getting soaked. Chan is frolicking like a puppy in it.

It isn’t supposed to snow here-just colder, and maybe rain for a couple of days-

I was listening to the classic rock station on the way home and I heard “Black Dog” and a favorite Judas Priest tune-

“We hold each other closer, as we shift to overdrive
And everything goes rushing by, with every nerve alive
We move so fast it seems as though we’ve taken to the sky
Love machines in harmony, we hear the engines cry.

I’m your turbo lover
Tell me there’s no other...”

That same DJ gets into heavy music sometimes, which I also like-I heard “White Room with Black Curtains” the other day...

It’s all done here. 3-4 inches. Moved some of it around in the driveway.

Now the cold comes.

How cold is it supposed to get where y’all are? And what about DC-if it is cold and snowy enough to keep Obama indoors, and congress away from work, we could save a few billion...

Xsbaby and I helped xshub shovel. Janice dean says we have 3” and maybe that’s true downtown but not here. We shoveled at least 4 and another came down in the meantime. It’s light though, was able to just push the shovel to clear the driveway.

Minus 2 tomorrow morning. 15-20 below wind chills. My company is going to have shuttles from the far flung parking lots again.

I sympathize with you both-stay warm and safe. As cold as it has been early on, it would be nice if it was an early spring, too...

Speaking of which-I watched “Klondike” last night and decided I’d watch all three episodes-tonight and tomorrow-It is okay, so far for a miniseries, and I’ve been fascinated by books and movies about the great white north from an early age...

Getting a workout while doing something productive is its own reward. Plus you can have big dessert! Or a beer without guilt.

Lol...that album, does not get the recognition it deserves.

The pace, is awesome for cardio training...Freewheel Burnin,Eat me Alive..jawbreaker,sentinel..then it fades on side 2, Some Heads are Gonna Roll leads to a slow down

Just takes a level of stamina....if you can train to that, you can go at it indefinitely.

White Room was one of the first heavy tunes I got into, as a kid..
About 7 or so...lol..long story.

Maybe you’ll get the call at 5 am? That’s when our district usually calls us off, much to our chagrin.

no call from college, there was an alert on their website saying won’t open until noon. that means her class was cancelled because it was at 8 am.
