The point isnt duplicate threads. The point is they dont want you commenting on certain religious topics.
No, the point is that the classification of "Caucus" means that the thread if for that particular caucus, and marking it that way, makes it a safe place from acrimonious or contentious posts, or even posts you think might prove the fallacious beliefs of a certain brand of theology.
The rule is applied evenly for every caucus. IMHO, it is a fair approach for a safe-haven discussion for each and every Denomination.
