A few years ago I was at a family Christmas party that had a variety of different people there; some whom I had never met before.
The conversation went to 9-11 and it became obvious the two people I was sitting and talking with were "Truthers" My first reaction was they were putting me on and playing a joke on me but it became obvious that they believed deeply that 9-11 was a Jewish plot, and a US Govt. coverup.
I waited and asked them how the jews could get 19 Muslims in good health and wealth to give up their lives for Israel. They told me they never died, and the Tuesday following the incident all their relatives were give evidence they were still alive.
As far as the controlled demolition of one of the buildings I said a conspiracy like that would involve too many people not to have someone come forward with the truth and also it would require great expertise and attract attention, of people in the building.
. In any event, they persisted in those beliefs. These people are family people with decent jobs and fairly well educated and believe this stuff.
It is very discouraging to sit here an hear it first hand.- Tom
I believe ABC or one of the other networks did a two hour show on the 9/11 “conspiracies.” They debunked each and every one of the lunatic truther stories concerning the so-called planning by the government, the explosives, and all the other details. They even interviewed a bunch of the main truther lunatics and showed them the evidence. The evidence being, there was no conspiracy. The loonies refused to believe what was in front of their faces. Because, like conspiracist loonies everywhere, they wanted to believe. By definition, there’s no reasoning with lunatics.
Ask the trufers if they accept that Bin Laden was killed during a raid on his compound in Pockystahn and buried at sea with no photo or video evidence.
