Prisons are locked down.
Yeah when I was in high school in the early 80s the doors of our school were never locked. We were able to bring guns to school for hunting in the afternoon. They just had to remain in our cars if we drove or they needed to go to the principal’s office for the day.
Modern school buildings look like prisons, and the atmosphere is a lot like prison.
