I got talking once to a respiratory therapist at the hospital where I worked.She told me that a few years earlier,in order to make some $$$,she worked for a year in a Saudi hospital.She said that she and an American friend ran into the religious police a couple of times.She said that they had this whip-like instrument that they'd use to whip their ankles if their slacks/skirt exposed too much of their ankles.Amazing!
