Thanks so much for sharing your experiences and for all the information. I meant to ask if you had a male or female. We are leaning towards a female. Still doing some more research. We want to make sure we make the right decision for the dog’s sake. Thanks again!

In my younger days when all young people are stupid I did not recognize the differences between male and female dogs.
The females really do make better pets. There are ‘feminine’ qualities about them that I was unaware of when younger. The females are more nurturing, etc. However, that will not stop them from trying to ‘supervise’ and control everything that happens in the house! In that sense they are typical females! ( I can say that because my wife does not read FR! ) ;-)
