What the hell does that mean? They deliberately use words with no meaning and no definition, so that later they can claim to be saying something else.

Every time I hear the word “core” in reference to Al-Qaeda, I want to throw a brick at the television.

“core” What the hell does that mean? I think he's referring to the AQ who are employees of our government.
