The title "A Child is Born, a Son is Given" is next to the Nativity scene where Trayvon Martin takes the place of baby Jesus. The Nativity scene was made by artist John Zachary to show the effect of gun violence. Zachary has made controversial nativity scenes in the past, but this might be the most controversial to date.
Trayvon Martin is slumped over wearing a black hoodie, around him blood pools onto straw. The Nativity scene is located at the Claremont United Methodist Church, and it is not a hit with everybody. People took to Facebook to express their opinions. One person posted "How sad to replace the Savior in the nativity scene. What kind of church is this??? I pray that you will understand the real reason for the season
" Another wrote "No Christian I know would ever disparage Jesus Christ with such a repulsive image. I would never attend your church as a fellow Methodist and you ought to be ashamed of yourselves."

Ah, yes. The liberal obsession with the rare white-on-black crime. Tawana Brawley, Duke Lacrosse, Trayvon, etc.
Remember, kiddies, the failure of poor people can never be their own moral choices. They must always be victims of capitalism.
And the white middle class must always be the villain.
This reverse Nazism that insists that Blacks are somehow essentially different from everyone else and that they could solve all the problems of the world (not having the drawback of ordinary human nature) is the reason we were given Obama . . . and why no one--not even the Republicans--wants to take him down.
The moral and mental midgets capable of thinking this has any validity are capable of thinking and doing anything.
Which includes electing a mystery marxist as president.
He's the same yesterday, today, and forever. Good post, Albion.
Praise God, Friend!
Cbeck out the link to prior nativity scenes from the same church .especially 2011. Nuff said

Thanks, Jraider. That pastor is obviously more concerned with notoriety than with the biblical Gospel of Jesus.
Liberal “christianity” at it’s most sickeningly blasphemous.
