Things like that was so common in former Soviet Union since about 1970s that their courts seized to view it as murder and felony in general. Average punishment is up to 2 years suspended term to this day in Russia.
Funny thing is Russia is now getting morals and a spine while we are going down the toilet. It just sucks.
