As if the Iran-UFO connection (the Axis of Alien-ness?) couldnt get any weirder, it now appears that the Iranian Air Force attempted to shoot down aircraft that didnt seem very Earth-like.
Before I go any further, the following does not come from a conspiracy Web site. Its from an article last October in Combat Aircraft Monthly, a military aviation magazine that features some well-respected writers. The article on Iranian F-14 Tomcat fighters by Babak Taghvaee, who has written extensively on the Iranian Air Force, also recounts how Iran attempted to intercept what it believed to be U.S. spy drones overflying its nuclear facilities.
Whats interesting in Taghvaees piece is how Iran describes the intruders, which the Iranians called luminous objects in the belief that they were emitting light to enable night photography:
According to Iranian sources, the CIAs intelligence drones displayed astonishing flight characteristics, including an ability to fly outside the atmosphere, attain a maximum cruise speed of Mach 10, and a minimum speed of zero, with the ability to hover over the target. Finally, these drones used powerful ECM that could jam enemy radars using very high levels of magnetic energy, disrupting navigation systems. In one intercept over the Arak nuclear facility in November 2004, an Iranian F-14 Tomcat tried to lock its radar on to a luminous object, only to have the radar beam disrupted. The pilot described the object as being spherical, with something like a green afterburner creating a considerable amount of turbulence behind it, according to the article. The intruder then increased its speed and disappeared like a meteor.

“various senior Iranian military officers directly involved with the events have gone on public record stating their belief that the object was not of terrestrial origin.”
Then is must be true, as they would never lie.
How did these freaks obtain F-14 Tomcats. And let them continue to believe these stories. It can be used to knock them out in future fights.
The US sold the Shah of Iran several dozen F-14s before he was overthrown during the Carter years. The Iranians have scrapped most to keep a few flying. And buying black market spare parts. These are very early 1970 versions
The UFOs are being piloted by the Christian Women from the planet Venus.
I think the message to the Iranians is to go ahead and build their nuclear weapons. But it's a total waste of their time and money, and it will not end well.
Great technology, but we can’t program a frickin’ website to save out souls!
Maybe the aliens are interfering with the Nuclear Weapons, and the Obamacare website...
I have a copy of that on vinyl.
I’ve heard stories from the Vietnam war where objects were being tracked on radar at unbelievable speeds and making 90 degree turns straight up. Would turn a human body to liquid.
Damn Nazi’s
Iran had 79 F-14 s and 700 odd AIM-54s.May have a squadron or two left. Their aircrew were trained by the US Navy and had to have been better than the Iraqis I would think. They would have had a lot of combat experience fighting Iraq but those guys may be retired by now.
Iranian aircraft need warning stickers that read “We fire on hallucinations.”
“Barnhardt: One thing, Mr. Klaatu: suppose this group should reject your proposals. What is the alternative?
Klaatu: I’m afraid there is no alternative. In such a case, the planet Earth would have to be... eliminated”
Replace planet earth with iran and ya got something there!
I see the question was answered.
I’ll add that the Iranians are trying very hard to keep those aircraft flying.
Flying.
Just because an aircraft can fly doesn’t mean it has operable weapons and an ability to employ them.
The IAF F-14’s are mostly propaganda, as those aircraft have hardly functional radar and questionable weapons.
(And, after all, they ARE being flown by Iranians. . .*snort*)
