I ate some of the new “sugar free” twizzlers once. I had maybe four sticks and I ended up on the toilet for days, dehydrated, unable to eat and after multiple trips to the ER, medical scans, a few bottles of pain pills and close to twenty lbs lost it was determined that I have an intolerance for the product and no permanent damage was done.
You’re like me, I can’t tolerate anything ending in -tol
Malitol - Sorbitol (along with aspertame for me)
A little touch of it and I’m in the restroom - quick.
It’s tricky eating things that I haven’t prepared.
Malitol and Sorbitol are in tons of products.
Stay away from imitation crab meat, California rolls, etc.
Unless you really check the nutritional.
