“Fearing” 49er fans? hahahaha
Seattle Seachickens.
...this will never hold up
What the Seahawks fail to realize is that Seattle has become the San Francisco of the North because of so many California transplants. They are already infested with 49er fans.
Yellow journalism. They are limiting ticket sales to the geographical area that the fan base lives in to discourage scalping. There are about 6,000 tickets available in a stadium that seats 68,000....I hardly think fear of 49er fans is a factor here, the policy would be the same no matter who played against Seattle.
There’s enough of a rivalry without liberal propaganda sheets trying to gin up more to help keep afloat.

It was pretty sad to hear all the cheering for SF at Carolina’s home stadium. What an embarrassment for the Panthers.
I guess the Seahawks, after watching the San Francisco fans and citizens actions over the past years fear for their fans safety and are acting accordingly. I say good on them.

Even uber-leftwingers in Seattle hate Californians.
There's a difference???
they will be there... Seattle is so close to the Bay Area... there were a lot of Niner fans in Charlotte... i even know some who flew out there for yesterday's game... sheesh--Bay Area to Seattle is a roadtrip for some... flying is even easier...
let's go NINERS!
Problem is a great many people are taking a stupid game way too seriously.
This isn’t new. In the NHL both the Blues and the Predators began making efforts earlier this year to keep Blackhawk fans away. Watching the games on TV they don’t appear to have been successful.
They don't call 'em the Sea Chickens for nothing!
You buy tickets at several hundred dollars a pop, purchase
roundtrip airline tickets for a few hundred $ a piece, and
finally, you reserve an over priced room, not to mention
food. You do all of this so you can engage in behavior that
could get yourself bounced from the game or even arrested.
Who does this? Maybe a few.......but not enough to create this
kind of a policy. Doesn’t pass the smell test.
Ah, big deal. It’s not like they are refusing to sell cake to gay people.
Would appear to be an unconstitutional act under the commerce clause and also violation of anti-trust laws:
also:
viz-
“Section 8.
No Preference shall be given by any Regulation of Commerce or Revenue to the Ports of one State over those of another:”
Dumb move by Seattle and Denver to limit who can get tickets.
nigh Unconstitutional, eh?
They should ban blind field officials. That might improve the quality of the games.
This is silly. The only fans you need to worry about are those in Philadelphia. /s
