Same here in Colorado. Loads of wild turkeys again. It is a riot to have to watch the roads in the neighborhood because of turkeys.

Evergreen was loaded with elk, huge herds of them.

Small herds walked about in the main part of town.

Mule deer were all over the place, so much so that in three weeks, two of them tried to suicide on the front of a 1985 Crown Victoria. One managed to hit the brakes just before he was to be ‘bumpered” into the passenger side windshield.

How do you tell a friend his daughter got skewered by Bambi?

Not a joke, as those Mulies are large and carry impressive racks.

PS Windshield glass is actually quite thin.

PPS TOO THIN, ‘specially when one sees Bambi attempting suicide up close.
