as stars begin to arrive for annual awards ceremony
It was a mad dash to scrub the red carpet ahead of Sunday's Golden Globes after a pipe burst, spewing liquid some say smelled of sewage across the pathway for the stars.
Black water gushed onto horrified members of the international press awaiting the arrival of Hollywood glitziest stars dressed in their finest gala attire.
The press fled from the spill as the Beverly Hills Fire Department rushed to the scene to clean up the smelly mess in front of Hollywood's famous Beverly Hilton Hotel.
An E! Television red carpet correspondent was among the disgusted press members who witnessed the unprecedented sullying of one of the world's most anticipated celebrity events.
'A pipe has appeared to totally bust and there is water gushing, literally everywhere in the position of where all of the international press everyone has moved out of the way,' said Catt Sadler. 'Rain was not expected in LA today, but we've got a little flooding!'
The flooding was apparently more like a malodorous deluge.
'Sewage pipe break on red carpet at #GoldenGlobes so its not hot as s**t but it could smell like it today. Good times,' tweeted Access Hollywood's Billy Bush just after the disaster....
According to KABC, the gusher began when a lighting rig overheated, setting off a sprinkler, which rained the fluid down onto the crimson walkway.
But eye witnesses said the water smelled of sewage, suggesting there was more to the story than simply a fire system set off by accident.
'We can confirm that there was a malfunction with a sprinkler near the red carpet,' read a statement from the posh Beverly Hills Hotel, where the Golden Globes have been held--sewage free--for over 50 years....

” the filth Hollywoood pumps out, let a little bit of it flow right back to the source.”

I have not been to a movie in about 15 years, but watching the movie channels on my dish indicates that Hollyweird has hit bottom with action movies that are more like cartoons
with massive explosions and wrecks. On occasion, I do get a good Segal or Bond movie, but the others are mostly junk.
well well well.
A little payback for the sewerage they have been spewing at us for years.
Zero is attending ?
Has George Segal done a good movie in awhile ?
Leave it up to the Daily Mail to publish cr*p like that to then be brought over here.
Well, that seems appropriate.
Haha! Someone inside flushed a cherry bomb!
It’s amazing how bad things have gotten. I recall about a year ago I was zipping through my channels on DirecTV (and I didn’t even have the usual “pay” movie channels), and I came upon the Encore movie channel. There was a scene in a movie of a wolfman/wolfmonster graphically raping some young woman, and then slitting her throat, as her helpless boyfriend watches in horror from an adjacent room. Said wolfman then goes to the boyfriend and bloodily rips his testicles off.
You know, I’m not averse to the horror film genre. Used to love the old-time horror films. But somehow, just flipping through channels and running into this, it really hit home how vomitous the whole culture has become. I got rid of my dish after that. I really have zero interest in seeing a single second of anything modern anymore. I’ll just stick to old, vintage films and tv-shows from an America that I love and can morally relate to.
Well, they’re in the media, so this is like a bonus, right? Or a preview of next year’s releases?
I always thought those award shows were garbage, but now it’s unexpectedly worse than I thought.
It wasn’t sewage...just fire sprinklers.
Sprinkler systems are not tested....once they are in place and charged, they remain that way unless drained for alteration or new construction.
Hence the water inside remains and stagnates...sometimes for decades. The water smells like sewage because the same water has been sitting in those pipes for years.
“Has George Segal done a good movie in awhile ?”

“Ill just stick to old, vintage films”

It was a year or so ago when my dish had a few weeks of the old Bond movies. That was fun.
The roar of the greasepaint, the smell of the crowd...
Raw sewage on those multi-thousand dollar gowns and shoes... how’s it feel to experience an invasion of filth, ladies and gentlemen of Gomorrah-on-the-Pacific?
The Golden Globes: That pipe would hit it.
MSM reporting:
Bush’s fault!
Crumbling infrastructure due to not enough domestic spending.
What with the warmies frozen in Antarctic ice, Obamacare....I am maxed out on Schadenfreude
