The author/editor are clueless about the miliary. There is no such thing as a "U.S. Naval Army officer" and the female "victim" was a midshipman, not an officer. All involved are midshipmen.
Quite a dilemma for the Left and the feminists. Sexual Assault in the military. A mere allegation is sufficient for conviction, but at least one of the accused is a Black man, the victim did not come forward for some time, and evidence is in short supply. What to do, what to do?

The woman said she didn’t remember being sexually assaulted after a night of heavy drinking but heard from others she had had sex with multiple partners at a party.
WTF?
What evidence do they have a rape even took place?

Apparently none, as all charges against two of the midshipmen have been dropped. One more remains under charges. However, evidence did not seem to matter as events initially unfolded.

Ladies, if you want to preserve your honor in a roomful of drunken men, maintain consciousness. Or choose a better grade of drunken men BEFORE you party.

The men were all football players at the academy at the time of the alleged assault Football produces cannon fodder, not leaders.

Maybe this woman should reconsider her occupation as she drinks so much she doesn’t remember events.

LOL — it will definitely give them something to CHAT about.
As they say in the news business — it ain’t news until the Daily Mail posts it.

It's the new definition of Rape. Now if the girl is drunk it's rape even if she is an enthusiastic participant. All it takes is for her to have regrets the next day.

If the couples aren't married....IT'S RAPE!
Both parties get charged.

Since when?
Many times when you read about great soldiers, military leaders and Special Ops, you are reading about athletes, and football players.

Yep. By that logic, the male should be able to claim rape too, since he was drunk as well. But it never works out that way, does it?

I dont get all this mixing of hydrogen and oxygen in the same bottle with an open flame so close by. As to this case, I thought that they only important issue was, are the parties telling the truth?
