[MD Expat in PA]

Looks like we easterners aren’t done with winter in spite of this nice thaw.

The thaw here in Central PA a high of 54 today, was nice but these warm ups always seem to play havoc with my winter allergies and my sinuses – I’ve had a sinus headache since Wednesday and have gone through three boxes of tissues since Thursday night. Plus we are under flood advisories. I was out shopping and running errands earlier today and it was pouring and at one point the sky got so dark and yellowish, then the wind whipped up so suddenly, I thought for a moment, that it might be a tornado.

Although I think I made the right call for Christmas gifts this year for my 6 great nieces – really nice insulated snow boots and arts and craft kits and board games. : )

Those sound like dandy Christmas presents !

And +1 for the sinus assaults .. was about 50° here today, and the humidity's 99% (literally) right now.

We had a tornado warning about 10 miles north as the storm came through but I don’t think anything touched down.
Zyrtec is a wonder drug. Hope ‘snot any more serious.
