I am SO DONE with candles after our week-long power outage last winter. ....Could barely see to make coffee, although I had a whole slew of them. Sure couldn’t read by them.

In a pinch, it's good to set up mirrors behind them. Double the light.

I moved into a house before the electricity could be turned on and placed candles in front of mirrors. Worked like a charm.
