I’ve heard almost nothing by Bruno. Have to admit that hearing that he will be doing the Super Bowl halftime prejudiced me against him. Will give him a listen and try to get over that.
Bruno Mars is pop, but he has a beautiful voice. He also happens to have one of those smiles that lights up a room, and maybe a football field.
Here’s another pop artist who deserves a deeper look into her music: while everyone else tries to figure out which famous boyfriend she is writing about, listen to how she writes. Taylor swift deserves fans older than 14 because she is an A+ songwriter. Her voice is ok and her delivery and performances are good, but her musical style and ability to write songs that are catchy but With depth and originality to them is what impresses me.
