Same thing with every other state that has a Medical Marijuana law. If you have a medical marijuana card, you cannot legally purchase a firearm from an FFL. And, now that Colorado passed “universal background checks,” even private sales face to face must go thorugh an FFL.

Fools.

I'm curious. Aren't there prescription drugs that have marijuana's active ingredient? What is it, THC? Or something? That's entirely different from the whole medical pot store concept.

Is that still a disqualifier? I'm assuming this would be a drug approved by the FDA, therefore federally legal. Part 'e' of the 4473 says, "Are you an unlawful user of ..?"

If there is such a drug, then it's federally legal therefore, the user/patient can still truthfully answer question 'e', "no."

Here in Oregon the supreme court ruled that a pot-card holder cannot be denied the right to a CCW, maybe the courts will say the same thing about a 4473.
